Lagniappe Bayou Kitchen was born out of a love for food and feeding people. Founders Story and Kevin Craig were born and raised in the South, and the Southern traditions and cooking styles they grew up with heavily influence the food and atmosphere of their restaurant. After moving to Nashville, they found themselves longing for a little taste of home all too often, so they decided to bring it here themselves.

We had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to the help of Lagniappe Bayou Kitchen! We ordered a Cajun turkey. It came with dressing, gravy & a side of greens. The portions were generous & everything was delicious! It was ready upon arrival & the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Birthday dinner of Shrimp & Grits was excellent!! The chef/owner was engaging, gave us excellent options for gluten-free options! The food was hot, fresh and filling! The Dessert case was a beautiful thing to behold the night we were there! The restaurant was clean & the decor is fun. I'm looking forward to stopping early in the day for some hot fresh coffee! We'll be back!

I can't say enough great things about this place. I've been to Louisiana and this place captures the heart of Cajun cuisine yet with a truly southern touch. The service was amazing and the food deserves more than five stars. I would definitely make a detour just to go back.
